Redesigning A Ring

I had a customer that inherited this ring from her Mother but she didn't care for the two Opals together. In this case I cut the ring apart and welded one of the settings in the center of the ring and used the other setting to make a pendant for her daughter as a reminder of her grandmother. I was able to maintain the original look of her mother's ring without completely starting over.
